SNOW Co., Ltd. has three types of silicon rubber test socket solutions
with different structures tailored to the type of semiconductor IC and usage environment.


MBP elastomer socket Model 'D' is a laminated structure and 150% to 200% thicker than Model 'S'.

'D' is the thickest of the elastomer rubber socket line. such as where the parts are attached to the bottom of the semiconductor IC.

Although it is a product with a laminated structure, the pin resistance is more or less the same with that of 'S' and 'H'. This product has a long service life by repeated contacts as its increased thickness results in low contact pressure and increased compression length.

  • Elastomer sockets of various thicknesses can be manufactured that can replace pogo pins
  • Can have 2x longer lifespan improvement effect for physical impact due to low resistance and low contact pressure.

  • When it is difficult to use the elastomer socket due to parts attached to the semiconductor package such as CPU, the problem is solved with the Model 'D' type
  • Maintain stable contact even with height deviation between PADs of semiconductor ICs such as warpage with a stroke of 0.3mm or more
